Celebrate Botanic Garden Day at the National Rhododendron Garden

Wednesday 10 May, 2017

Parks Victoria invites you to join in the Botanic Garden Day celebrations at the National Rhododendron Garden from 11:00am to 3:30pm on Sunday 28th May. The Botanic Garden Day celebrations are free and will feature presentations delivered by specialists in the horticultural industry, a botanical art display, guided walks and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.

With a rare collection of exotic plants surrounded by a stunning mountain ash forest the gardens are a must visit for Victorian green-thumbs and nature lovers and a perfect opportunity for garden enthusiasts or those just wishing to explore the beautiful gardens of the Dandenong Ranges.

There will also be a public information session where the public can find out more about the proposed name change for the National Rhododendron Garden and provide feedback on the options proposed for the new name.

The National Rhododendron Garden is located off The Georgian Road in Olinda. For more information on the National Rhododendron Garden call 13 1963 or visit www.parks.vic.gov.au
