Spring plant sale at George Tindale Memorial Garden

Thursday 28 September, 2017

The community are invited to join the Friends of Tindale Garden for their annual Spring Plant Sale at the George Tindale Memorial Gardens. The sale will be held from 9.00am to 2.00pm on Saturday October 14 2017.

The selection of plants on offer will include varieties that will add colour to any garden such as Hellebores and many other plants.

The Friends of Tindale Garden will also be available on the day to provide advice on the horticultural requirements of newly purchased plants and share stories about the garden.

The George Tindale Memorial Garden is located at 33 Sherbrooke Road, Sherbrooke (Melway Reference: Map 75 J2). Entry into the gardens is free.

The following is attributable to President of the Friends of Tindale Garden Lesley Butler:

“The George Tindale Memorial Garden is abundant with colour in spring, with many of the plants you see in the park also available to purchase so you can grow them in your own garden,”

“The money raised through the plant sale will help the Friends of Tindale Garden continue with projects in the garden so we encourage the visitors to support this day and enhance your own gardens at the same time.”
