Declaration of boating activity exemption - Australian Grand Prix Corporation - Glamour on the Grid Fireworks

I, Janine McNeilly-Rowe, District Manager Albert Park District Office, as delegate of Parks Victoria the waterway manager for Albert Park Lake, declare under section 203(3) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic) that persons and vessels participating in the Australian Grand Prix Corporation - Glamour on the Grid Fireworks on Wednesday 22 March 2017 are exempt from:
- Clause 151.2 of Schedule 151 of the vessel Operating and Zoning Rules “The whole of the waters of Albert Park Lake are prohibited to vessels for the period between one hour after sunset and two hours before sunrise”.
The exemptions apply from one hour after sunset -till 2200 hrs on Wednesday 22 March 2017 for the waters of Albert Park Lake provided the stated safety controls and undertakings detailed in the application for boating activity exemption and associated documentation are adhered to.
An exclusion zone has been established for this activity.
