Notice of activity exclusion zone - Firelight Festival

NOTICE OF ACTIVITY EXCLUSION ZONE
Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic)
Section 208(2)

In accordance with section 208(2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic), Parks Victoria (the waterway manager for the Yarra River upstream of the port waters of the Port of Melbourne) gives notice that all persons and vessels not involved in the Firelight Festival fireworks and burning effigies displays are prohibited from entering or remaining on the waters of the Yarra River (Victoria Harbour) in an area bounded by buoys in the locations detailed below.

The exclusion zone takes effect between 7.00pm to 9.00pm on 30 June, 1 July and 2 July 2017, provided the stated safety controls and undertakings detailed in the Event Application and associated documentation are adhered to.

1 = 37° 48' 58.8''S, 144° 56' 26.9''E

2 = 37° 49' 07.2''S, 144° 56' 24.3''E

3 = 37° 48' 59.0''S, 144° 56' 33.1''E

4 = 37° 49' 02.2''S, 144° 56' 28.9''E

1 = 37° 49' 04.0''S, 144° 56' 18.1''E

2 = 37° 49' 03.0''S, 144° 56' 21.8''E

3 = 37° 49' 05.7''S, 144° 56' 23.5''E

4 = 37° 49' 06.8''S, 144° 56' 19.8''E
