Tyrone is split into two sections. The first section runs from a line through St Johns Wood Rd to approx 50 meters west of Tyrone boat ramp. The second section begins approx 50 meters east of Tyrone boat ramp to the point at White Cliffs

Tackle requirements

  • Buoys: All moorings in the Tyrone area must have a Standard Identification Buoy, as specified by Parks Victoria fitted to the mooring at all times. The buoy and identification number must be visible at all times.
  • Chain: As specified by an Authorised Mooring Tackle Contractor
  • Weights: No ground weights permitted. 2-3 Anchor systems only allowed.
