Victorian Water Police manage port security in partnership with port managers. If you see something suspicious on the water contact the Water Police on (03) 9399 7500. Port security boats patrol the restricted waterside zones. In line with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code, ports have three security levels - Level 1 is the default at which ships, ports and offshore facilities normally operate. The Port of Melbourne Corporation website provides advice on the current security level.
