Accessibility Information
The 500 metre Walter Pisterman Heritage Walk is generally accessible to the Observatory Point picnic area.
Observatory Point picnic area is a relatively level, open space with low picnic tables.
The ground is mostly compacted dirt/gravel with some sand cover.
The short walk to Observatory Point on the beach is not accessible to conventional wheelchairs as it is covered in sand and ends at the beach.
Observatory Point beach
The Observatory Point beach can be accessed by all-terrain beach wheelchairs.
Due to the slight track incline leading down to the beach and the loose sand, two fit chair operators are recommended.
