Fisihing from the pier is a popular activity and is a particular hotspot for King George whiting, with the peak season being from November- April. Other popular activities include swimming in the calm, safe waters or casually strolling down the beach.
Located within a short walk of the Sorrento Pier is the town of Sorrento, one of Victoira's oldest seaside communities. Visit Sorrento for a variety of cafes, resturants, galleries, picnic and barbeque facilities.
