Camping is available at the Fairhaven campsite. Located on the west coast foreshore the campsite is in an idyllic natural setting.
Basic toilet facilities and water supplies (purify or boil first) are provided. Open fires are not permitted at any time as the island's vegetation is highly combustible. A portable gas stove, or similar, is essential.

Parks Victoria joins Oxfam Australia in expressing our sadness at the passing of a participant in the Trailwalker Melbourne this weekend. We send our sincere condolences to the participants family and to those affected by this sad news. Oxfam Australia has arranged counselling for anyone affected on 1300 360 364.
