The Albert Park South Melbourne Rowing Club operate from the Plant-Williamson Rowing Pavilion. They can be contacted by email on email@example.com. Beginners are welcome on Sundays at 10.00am.
The Y Rowing Club operate from McAdam House (Powerhouse) and can be contacted on 9529 8596. They conduct Come and Try / Learn to Row sessions for all ages on Sunday mornings. Competition crew training and school or corporate programs are also available.
Fishing is limited to the designated area approximately 200 metres north of the Powerhouse building, on the eastern side of the lake. Fish include Rainbow Trout and Golden Perch. A Recreational Fishing Licence is required and Victorian Recreational Fishing Guidelines must be followed. Parks Victoria encourages the 'catch and release' method of fishing to help maintain the water quality within the lake but European Carp (a noxious fish) must be removed from the lake once caught.
Albert Park Model Yacht Club race every Sunday afternoon adjacent to McAdam House (Powerhouse). Enjoy the thrills of big yacht racing without getting wet. They can be contacted on 9557 1353.
The sailing clubs that operate on Albert Park Lake conduct regular races on the lake every Saturday and are all located in Aquatic Drive. The clubs welcomes new members and provides regular training programs.

The Albert Park Yacht Club can be contacted on 9690 5418 and is also the venue for Sailability Australia, an organisation which promotes and conducts sailing days for disabled persons.
The First Victorian Sea Scouts operate on a weekly basis and can be contacted on 9570 4216.
Sailing School and Boat Hire
Boating is a popular safe activity on the lake. The Jolly Roger School of Sailing provides boat and aquabike hire for casual sailors, rowers and canoeists. Sailing lessons, holiday programs and cruises are also available, please enquire within or call 9690 5862.
The Sailability program operates from the Albert Park Yacht Club off Aquatic Drive. This program is an introduction to sailing for people of all abilities. People with a disability may park in the sail rigging area next to the Yacht Club with prior arrangement from Sailability.
The aim of Sailability is to introduce all ages and abilities to the joys of sailing in a straightforward, fun and inexpensive way.

The Melbourne Tramways Band is in their 74th annual recital season with free monthly concerts to be presented between 2.30pm – 4.30pm (weather permitting) at the open air bandstand in Wattle Park in Burwood from November to April.
