The summit offers spectacular views of the city. This is also a pleasant spot for a picnic or barbecue.
Parking is available and the area has a number of barbecues, picnic tables and public toilets. Refreshments can also be purchased at the summit.
Seawinds gardens are just a short walk from the summit, located just south of the summit on Purves Rd. This delightful garden offers electric barbecues and picnic facilities, spectacular views and a range of walking tracks.
There are two designated disabled parking spaces next to the cafe in the main carpark. The spaces are 3.6 metres wide with the one closest to the cafe having an additional loading zone. Curb cuts are provided on the traffic island.
The summit lookout is a large flat concrete area with a low 1 meter high stone wall.
There are excellent views to the north to the city.
There is an accessible unisex toilet at the summit.
There are a number of picnic areas around the summit. The most accessible option is a picnic area at the very southern end of the park.
