Many roads, tracks and visitor sites in Barmah National Park and adjoining River Murray Reserves are closed until further notice due to flooding caused by locally wet conditions and a large release of water from the Yarrawonga Weir. Key visitor destinations and tracks that are now accessible include: Barmah Lakes camping ground and day visitor area; Dharnya Centre picnic and toilet area; Gulf Track and the Gulf camping ground; The Ranch, South of the Barmah township, Barmah Island (small section along River Road entering from Rices Bridge and small section along River Road entering from McCann Road); River Road from The Gulf, (one way only) to Boals deadwoods Regulator; Gulf Track and the Gulf camping ground; Newman’s Track onto River Road; River Road from Newman’s Track to Tongalong (4WD only); Darlows Track; Tongalong Track; Black Engine Track; Suttons Track; River Road from Morgan’s Mill back to Centre Track (one way only); Carters Beach (River Murray Reserves), River Track; Reserve Track – Ulupna Beach (4WD only); Lagoon Beach; and Labbetts Beach and Doctors Bend (River Murray Reserves).

Westerfolds parkrun

parkrun is free, weekly, 5km timed run that is open to everyone - walkers, runners, families and dogs are all welcome! Westerfolds parkrun occurs every Saturday morning. We're based near the main carpark off the Fitzsimons Lane entrance, and the course is run entirely on sealed paths within the park.

Heart Foundation Walking - Park Walk

A superb loop walk that winds through woodland, wet heathland & along boardwalks. Along the way you will encounter a variety of flora including hakeas, wattles, tea-trees, mistletoe, swamp bush pea and button grass. This guided walk is run by Friends of Bunyip State Park.
