Many roads, tracks and visitor sites in Barmah National Park and adjoining River Murray Reserves are closed until further notice due to flooding caused by wet conditions and a large release of water from the Yarrawonga Weir. Key visitor destinations and tracks that are now accessible include: Sand Ridge Track, Barmah Lakes camping and day visitor area; Dharnya Centre picnic and toilet area; Gulf Track and the Gulf camping ground; The Ranch, South of the Barmah township, Barmah Island (small section along River Road entering from Rices Bridge and small section along River Road entering from McCann Road); River Road from The Gulf, (one way only) to Boals deadwoods Regulator; Gulf Track and the Gulf camping ground; Newman’s Track onto River Road; River Road from Newman’s Track to Tongalong (4WD only); Darlows Track; Tongalong Track; Black Engine Track; Suttons Track; River Road from Morgan’s Mill back to Centre Track (one way only); Carters Beach (River Murray Reserves), River Track; Reserve Track – Ulupna Beach (4WD only); Lagoon Beach; and Labbetts Beach and Doctors Bend (River Murray Reserves).
