Cape Conran is one of Victoria’s treasured places and is greatly valued by campers and day-trippers who come to enjoy this special part of the remote coast. To protect the area whilst coping with the increasing number of visitors, a master plan was developed in 1987 which led to the current layout of the Banksia Bluff campground and the day visit areas at East Cape, West Cape and Salmon Rocks.

With numbers of visitors increasing and some of the facilities beginning to show signs of age, Parks Victoria has recently undertaken a review of the 1987 plan to ensure that the park facilities continue to support a rich and engaging experience at Cape Conran.

The Revised Master Plan and a Summary can be downloaded below.

The public comment period for the plan closed on 21 February 2014.
