  • The Homestead, Visitor Centre and Wetlands Observatory will be closed on Friday 13 July 2018. The remainder of the park remains open. at Coolart Historic Area, Thursday 12 July, 2018
  • The historic stables area is closed until further notice while repairs are undertaken. at Coolart Historic Area, Thursday 17 May, 2018
  • The Wetlands Observatory will be closed until further notice due to flooding. at Coolart Historic Area, Tuesday 17 April, 2018

Coolart’s historic mansion is set in a delightful garden with wetlands, woodlands and pasture nearby. Paths take you to the beach, lagoon and wetlands.

Opening hours

Coolart wetlands, bird hides, gardens and picninc and barbecue areas are open daily from 8.00am to 5.00pm.

The homestead is open 9.00am - 4.00pm everyday from November to April, and weekdays only from May to October.

Please call 13 1963 before travelling to check on access to the homestead, wetlands observatory (including audio-visual) and visitor centre as opening hours vary for these buildings and seasonal closures apply.
