- The heritage listed Homestead, Visitor Centre and Wetlands Observatory are not accessible to the public on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from July through to November inclusive, except for special events. All other recreation facilities are available for use including toilets, picnic area and barbecues, formal gardens, farmyard and displays, and woodland and wetland walks (including bird hides). at Coolart Historic Area, Wednesday 21 June, 2017

Coolart’s historic mansion is set in a delightful garden with wetlands, woodlands and pasture nearby. Paths take you to the beach, lagoon and wetlands.
Coolart wetlands, bird hides, gardens and picninc and barbecue areas are open daily from 8.00am to 5.00pm.
The homestead is open 9.00am - 4.00pm everyday from November to April, and weekdays only from May to October.
Please call 13 1963 before travelling to check on access to the homestead, wetlands observatory (including audio-visual) and visitor centre as opening hours vary for these buildings and seasonal closures apply.
