Animals
Despite being small park, Coolart has diverse wildlife. It has:
- 9 species of frog including the increasingly rare Growling Grass Frog
- 13 species of mammal ranging in size from the tiny, mouse-sized Agile Antechinus to the large Swamp Wallaby
- 11 species of reptile including the Common Long-necked Tortoise, Blue-tongue Lizard, Copperhead, White-lipped Snake and several species of skinks
- 177 species of birds
- 8 species of fish and four crustaceans have been found in the waterways.

Access for all in a wheelchair world first
