Education at Dandenong Ranges

The Dandenong Ranges provides many fantastic opportunities for students of all ages to learn about the importance of national parks, park management, the history of the local area and the Kokoda Track, the different forest habitats and the species that call them home. A range of guided and self-guided learning experiences are available.

The environmental Education Centre and forest classroom are located in the historic kiosk at the bottom of the Kokoda Track in the Ferntree Gully Picnic Ground.
