Fuel break works November to June

Fuelbreaks are used in this park by fire-fighters to help control bushfires or conduct planned burns. They also serve as a buffer between vegetation and nearby houses.

Fuelbreaks will be maintained on an ongoing basis through an annual slashing (mowing) program.

Thorough environmental and cultural heritage assessments have been undertaken prior to works commencing to minimise impacts.
