Jimmy Creek Campground is located in an open forest adjacent to the upper Wannon River. This campground is halfway between Halls Gap and Dunkeld, and is a great base for exploring both the Southern and Eastern Grampians.

Access
28km south of Halls Gap on the Grampians Tourist Road; this road is sealed and suitable for all vehicles.

Bookings
Advance bookings and payment are required year round. Bookings are for designated sites and are charged per campsite.

Campsites
There are 13 sites suitable for tent-based camping with adjacent vehicle parking, 4 drive-in sites suitable for caravans and campervans, and 4 drive-in sites suitable for camper-trailers, caravans and campervans. Each site at Jimmy Creek Campground accommodates a maximum of 6 people. Sites are unpowered.

Facilities
Non-flush toilets, a bush shower, shared fireplaces and shared picnic tables.

Water
No drinking water supplied; limited non-potable water may be available from a seasonal rainwater tank and river-fed campground taps.

Campfires
Only allowed in designated fireplaces - supply your own wood.

Rubbish
There is no rubbish collection at this campground, please take all rubbish with you.

Campfire guidelines

  • Light fires only in the fireplaces provided or use a portable camping stove instead
  • Ensure fires are never left unattended and are completely out before you leave
  • During summer and autumn Total Fire Bans are common - this means no open fires can be lit
