Wannon Crossing Campground is set within a forested area adjacent to the Wannon River. It is close to walks in the Southern Grampians and only a short drive into the Victoria Valley.

Access
35km south of Halls Gap or 30km north of Dunkeld on the Grampians Tourist Road. This road is sealed and suitable for all vehicles.

Bookings
No booking or payment is required at this campground. This campground operates on a first in, first served basis.

Campsites
There are 6 tent-based sites with adjacent vehicle parking, and one campsite that is suitable for a caravan, campervan or camper trailer. Sites are unpowered.

Facilities
Non-flush toilet, shared fireplaces and shared picnic tables.

Water
No drinking water supplied; limited non-potable water may be available from a seasonal rainwater tank.

Campfires
Only allowed in designated fireplaces - supply your own wood.

Rubbish
There is no rubbish collection at this campground, please take all rubbish with you. 

Campfire guidelines

  • Light fires only in the fireplaces provided or use a portable camping stove instead
  • Ensure fires are never left unattended and are completely out before you leave
  • During summer and autumn Total Fire Bans are common - this means no open fires can be lit
