The old Allenvale Mile site is just beyond the outskirts of Lorne. This is a walk in camping area, although it's only a short walk to the campground (around 200 metres). Be self-sufficient with drinking water as there is none provided.
Fees no longer apply to this campground. For all stays up until 30 June 2015 you will still need to book a campsite, but no fees will be charged. After 1 July 2015, no bookings will be taken for campgrounds where fees do not apply. Camping will be first in, first-served.
