Greenvale Reservoir Park temporary closure

Greenvale Reservoir Park will be temporarily closed from Wednesday 11 April until mid-August 2018.

Melbourne Water is upgrading the entrance way to Greenvale Reservoir Park as part of a major upgrade of the reservoir. The works are expected to take 3 months subject to favourable weather and conditions.

During the closure, Parks Victoria recommends Woodlands Historic Park as an alternative park nearby. Woodlands Historic Park has a picnic area that is 3.7km west of the main entrance of Greenvale Reservoir Park on Somerton Road.

To get to Woodlands Historic Park from the Greenvale Reservoir Park entrance, drive west 3.7km along Somerton Road and turn left into Somerton Access Road (opposite Sherwood Receptions).

While Greenvale Reservoir Park is closed, Parks Victoria will take the opportunity to improve some facilities in the park including installing new picnic tables and refurbishing the toilet block at Brodie’s Lake.
