As part of the Living Murray program, Goulburn Murray Water will be undertaking a program of works at Hattah Lakes including the installation of regulators, stop banks and a new pump station to supply environmental water to the Hattah Lakes.

Environmental works at Hattah Lakes are scheduled to start in mid March 2012.

These works will involve heavy earthmoving machinery and for public safety reasons a number of access tracks in Hattah-Kulkyne National Park and Murray-Kulkyne Park will be temporarily closed until works are complete in December 2012.

However, much of the park will still be accessible for visitors including the popular lakes and walking tracks.
