AnimalsThe Lake is commercially fished for short-finned eel. Fish are predominantly yellow-eye mullet, short-finned eel, black bream and some Australian salmon. Brown trout, carp, redfin, flounder, sea mullet, tupong, trevally estuary perch, luderick, short-headed lamprey, whiting and tailor are also present at times, depending on salinities in the lake.
