  • The rainwater tank at Yellowgums Walkers Camp is currently out of service. Walkers should always bring their own drinking water but water for other requirements will also need to be carried to this camp. Alternatively if walkers have a suitable 4WD vehicle they can undertake a water drop prior to their visit. The campsite can be accessed by a short walk via Wallaby Track. at Yellowgums Walkers Camp

Access
Yellowgums walkers camp is located on the southern loop of the Little Desert Discovery Walk, between Kiata and Horseshoe Bend camping areas.

Bookings
No booking is required. Camping is on a first in, first-served basis.

Campsites
Basic bush camping sites are available. The campsites are for hike-in walkers only.

Facilities
Non-flush toilet, communal fireplaces and picnic facilities are provided.

Water
No drinking water supplied – supply your own.

Campfire
Only allowed in designated fireplaces – supply your own wood.

Rubbish
There is no rubbish collection at this campground, please take all rubbish with you.

Campfire guidelines

  • Light fires only in the fireplaces provided or use a portable camping stove instead
  • Ensure fires are never left unattended and are completely out before you leave
  • During summer and autumn Total Fire Bans are common - this means no open fires can be lit
