Magnificent views of Elephant Rock, the rugged basalt coast and wild Bass Strait beyond are available from car parking area. A short track and boardwalk leads from the car park to the pebble beach below.
The actual blowhole is located at the end of Elephant Rock. Visitors are advised to take extreme care in this area as the rocks are slippery and large waves frequently wash over the platforms.
Please stay on the walking track to protect fragile vegetation which struggle to survive the harsh conditions on the exposed cliffs.
Swimming is not recommended at this unpatrolled beach as conditions are often hazardous due to large waves, strong currents and submerged rocky reefs.
The site can accessed from the Blowhole Track off Boneo Road.
