Ferntree and Bailes picnic areas
- Ferntree picnic area is on a sloping site that has been terraced to partially overcome the steep gradient.
- There is an uneven and unstable surface. A toilet meeting many access criteria is situated near the car park.

Marine pest Northern Pacific Seastar found in Tidal River

The invasive Northern Pacific Seastars (Asterias amurensis) were discovered yesterday at Tidal River within the Wilsons Promontory National Park for the first time. The seastars were sighted from the Tidal River footbridge, and were confirmed by Parks Victoria staff as being Northern Pacific Seastars. Parks Victoria promptly deployed an incident …
