Camping grounds have basic facilities including fireplaces, tables, hot showers and toilets.

The campground has 22 campsites of various sizes, some suitable for small caravans and camper-trailers. Some are only sutiable for tents. Camp fees apply for all sites.

Camping sites for larger groups and for people with disabilities are also provided.

Bookings are required over the Christmas, New Year, Labour Day weekend and Easter breaks.

Booking periods
Bookings are only applicable to the four periods listed in the table below. At other times of the year visitors select their campsites on arrival with sites allocated on a first come – first served basis.

Booking a campsite

To book a campsite for one of the above mentioned periods, call Parks Victoria's Mount Eccles office on 13 1963 during business hours. Sites will only be held until 2.00pm the day after reservation if no prior arrangement has been made.

Camping fees
Peak season fee of $21.20 per night per campsite applies. Peak season includes the September school holidays and then runs from the Melbourne Cup weekend in November to the last Sunday in April..

Off-peak season fee $16.40 per night per campsite at all other times.

A campsite can accommodate up to six people with provision for one vehicle per campsite.

Additional vehicles are $6.90 per night.

Fees are payable at the self-service box outside the office at the campround. Rangers regularly visit the campground and check camping permits.
