Cotton Tree Creek visitor area provides a perfect opportunity for picnicking and camping.
The camping area is accessible to two-wheel drive vehicles by following the signs from Granya Road.
No booking is required. Camping is on a first in, first-served basis.
Non-flush toilet, picnic table, fireplace and on-site information are available at this basic bush campground. All campsites are unpowered.
Only allowed in the fireplace provided – supply your own wood. Fuel stoves are preferred for cooking.
No drinking water is available – supply your own.
- Light fires only in the fireplaces provided or use a portable camping stove instead
- Ensure fires are never left unattended and are completely out before you leave
- During summer and autumn Total Fire Bans are common - this means no open fires can be lit

A short walk is possible to the nearby Granya Falls (1km return). A log hut, constructed in 1937 by the Granya Scout Group, is situated on the walking track between Cotton Tree Creek and Granya Falls.
For the more adventurous, a 5.7 km walking track has been constructed from Cotton Tree visitor area to the Mount Granya Summit, taking in some great views and interesting landscapes and vegetation.
