Magnificent views and a rich variety of plant and birdlife are some of this Gippsland park’s attractions. The highlight is Nyerimilang Homestead, in a delightful garden setting on a cliff top above the beautiful Gippsland Lakes.

Perfect picnic spots are surrounded by garden and scenic walks meander along bush and farm tracks, past Kurrajong trees, wetland areas and through the East Gippsland Indigenous Plant Garden.

How to get there

Nyerimilang Heritage Parks is accessible from Princes Highway via the Kalimna West Road. The park is just 10 kilometres by road north-west of Lakes Entrance.

Opening hours

The park is open daily from 8:30am until sunset and the homestead itself is usually open from 10:30am to 3:00pm on weekends and 9:30am to 4:00pm during weekdays.

Entry to Nyerimilang Heritage Park is free of charge, however the Friends of Nyerimilang gladly accept donations which will be used to help maintain the park.

Group visits and weddings should be arranged in advance with the Friends of Nyerimilang.
