Muttonbird Island carpark has parallel parking on a sealed surface for standard size and long vehicles. There is no designated disabled parking.
The path from the carpark to Muttonbird viewing area is approximately 150 metres long and 2.8 metres wide. The path is reasonably level apart from the first 15 metres that has a gradient of approximately 1:14.

The viewing platform has two levels separated by steps. The upper level is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. The surface of the platform is timber decking with horizontal timber safety rails.
