  • The Water Resources Alliance, on behalf of Melbourne Water and Parks Victoria will be commencing the final stage of the Tarago Dam Upgrade. The extensive construction works will commence on 14 February 2012 and due to safety concerns, the park will be closed on weekdays and Saturdays. The park will ONLY open on Sundays and the Labour Day and Easter long weekends during the construction period which is anticipated to be completed by June 2012. at Tarago Reservoir Park

Tarago Reservoir Park offers the perfect setting for a picnic or barbecue with family and friends. The picnic area has sloping lawns set amongst bush settings, with views of the reservoir and surrounding landscapes.

Opening times

The park is open at 8:30am all year round and closes at 6:00pm from April to September and 8:00pm from October to March.

 

 

Aboriginal Traditional Owners

Parks Victoria acknowledges the Aboriginal Traditional Owners of Victoria - including its parks and reserves. Through their cultural traditions, the Gunai - Kurnai identify the Tarago Reservoir Park as their Traditional Country.
