The visitor centre at the Twelve Apostles comprises an orientation area, interpretation displays along the boardwalk, toilets and a carpark that accommodates 190 cars and 12 coaches. Access to the viewing areas is via a tunnel under the Great Ocean Road.
The visitor centre is open 10am - 4:30pm, seven days a week (take away service only). Selling a basic range of refreshments including tea and coffee, cold drinks, confectionary and snacks such as biscuits and snack bars.
Accessibility Information
The entrance to the visitor centre has electric sliding doors with a width of approximately 1.1 metres when fully opened.

The kiosk is located to the left through the main entrance of the building,. There is adequate space for manoeuvrability in the kiosk. The kiosk counters are at standard height.

Visitor Centre Toilets
The visitor centre has designated male and female toilets and a separate unisex accessible toilet. The male and female toilets can be accessed from the inside and the outside of the building. The unisex accessible toilet can only be accessed from inside the building. The entrance to the accessible toilet is 94cm wide with an outward opening door.

The toilet cubicle consists of a toilet bowl, handbasin and mirror and a fold-down baby change table. There is adequate space for manoeuvrability of wheelchairs in the cubicle. The handbasin has adequate space underneath for whelchair access to the vanity and the tap is operated by a lever. The toilet has grab railings on the left side wall and at the back wall near the cistern. Push down flush buttons are located on the toilet cistern.

There is also a squat toilet cubicle located in both the male and female toilets.


Other Amenities
There are accessible bins and an accessible drinking fountain located outside the visitor centre.
