Wood barbecues and hot water facilities are provided.
The wet weather hall, that once served as the mess room for the dam construction team, provides sheltered seating, electric barbecues and hot water.
Accessibility information
The main picnic area is McVeigh's Picnic area. Facilities include an information shelter, gas and wood fired barbecues, rotunda, toilets and picnic tables.
The rotunda is accessed via a short path of compacted crushed rock from the carpark. The rotunda is paved and has one picnic table and a gas barbecue. There is ample room in the rotunda for maneuvering a wheelchair.

There are picnic table in the open area that range in accessibility due to the sloping terrain of the park.

The toilet at McVeighs is not accessible. There is a unisex designated disabled toilet in the camping area.
