There are gas barbecues and several picnic tables under a shelter next to the park office.
These can be accessed from the main car park via a short sealed path. Sections of this path have a slope of approximately 1:12.
The sheltered area is paved and level. The picnic tables have open ends, but there is no over-hang for wheelchairs to roll under.
