There is a path to the Pound Bend Tunnel at the end of the second carpark, which is on the left upon entering the park. The path is of level asphalt approximately 90 metres in length and it leads to two observation areas. There is a short boardwalk to the right that allows good views down the river.

The path to the left leads to a gravel area with two benches. There is space in this seating area for a wheelchair.
Visitors can look out over the tunnel outlet into the river from this area.
