Nestled beside the Yarra River in Eltham, the scenic surrounds of Sweeneys Flat offers a perfect spot for a family picnic, a special place to escape whilst taking in the views of the lush surrounding bushland.

 Your own gas barbecues are welcome at Sweeneys Flats since there are no barbecues provided. Toilet facilities are not available.

Organised groups of more than 20 people require a permit from the Park Office. Permits for the busiest period (November to February) will be issued from the 1 May.
