Yellow Gum Picnic Area

Yellow Gum Picnic Area is one of several picnic areas located throughout the park. There are wood fired barbeque places, however wood is not supplied. Big Rock, Valley, Lower and Turntable Picnic Areas provide gas barbeques free of charge on a first come basis.

Kurrajong Picnic Area is one of several picnic areas located throughout the park. There are wood fired barbeque places, however wood is not supplied. Big Rock, Valley, Lower and Turntable Picnic Areas provide gas barbeques free of charge on a first come basis. Toilets are available.

Big Rock Picnic Area

Walking - River Red Gum Parks

Big Rock Picnic Area is one of several picnic areas located throughout the park. Wood fired barbeque places and gas barbeques are provided free of charge on a first come basis, however wood is not supplied. Toilets, carpark and lookout are located at Big Rock.

Flinders Peak Lookout

Flinders Peak Walk Distance - 3.2km Time - 1hr return Starting from the Tunrtable carpark, this walk takes you to the highest point of the You Yangs. There are 450 steps and some sections with steep gradients.

Park Office/Visitor Centre

Located just inside the main entrance to the park you will find the Park Office and Visitor Centre. Park information, toilets, facilities for people with disabilities, and carparks are provided.
