There are two permanent orienteering course set up in the park. The Kurrajong course can be completed as a MTB orienteering experience. Maps and control cards can be purchased through the Park Office or Nillumbik Emus Orienteering Club.

Kurrajong Picnic Area is one of several picnic areas located throughout the park. There are wood fired barbeque places, however wood is not supplied. Big Rock, Valley, Lower and Turntable Picnic Areas provide gas barbeques free of charge on a first come basis. Toilets are available.
