Thompsons Road Area Community Fireguard and Landcare Group

The group's main activities include ‘weed walloping’, revegetation and planting. They meet on the first Saturday of each month from 9.30am -12.30pm. For information from Parks Victoria, contact Ranger Trevor McIntosh on (03) 9757 7777. Group associated with the Dandenong Ranges National Park.

Tree Project

The group meet on the last Sunday of the month. They are involved in a Victoria wide project that propagates plants from seed provided by landowners (publicly or privately owned land) in order to revegetate these areas by running volunteer planting days. The group are associated with Yarra Bend Park.
