Education Centres

Parks Victoria’s trained educators can deliver curriculum based activities that are adapted to meet the specific VELS standards or VCE outcomes.

Our hands-on programs engage students as they connect with and learn about Victoria's amazing natural environment and cultural heritage.

Education Centre locations

Wilsons Promontory National Park

Set in one of Victoria’s iconic parks, our programs range from engaging middle-years programs suitable for year-level camps through to fieldwork investigations for VCE studies that can be used as a basis for your School Assessed Coursework.

Dandenong Ranges National Park

Easily accessible from Melbourne, the Dandenong Ranges provides a captivating backdrop for your students to investigate a range of habitats types and learn more about how humans have adapted our natural environment over time. A range of locations can be used in the park that cater for all types of groups from early childhood through to in-depth VCE studies.

Serendip Sanctuary

Serendip Sanctuary is an ideal venue to explore and study the wetlands, woodlands and native grasslands of Victoria’s western volcanic plains. Serendip is a guaranteed place to view some of Victoria’s native and endangered animals up close.

Werribee Park and Mansion

Werribee Park’s curriculum-based school programs will help your students discover what life was like living and working in a Victorian-era mansion with a range of hands-on programs.
