Glamping trial to begin in National Parks across Victoria
Touch of luxury to pop up in parks
Nature lovers looking for an extra touch of comfort will be able to go glamping in two Victorian National Parks when Parks Victoria’s glamping trial commences in late September 2018.
Based in Mount Buffalo National Park and Lake Eildon National Park, this is a unique opportunity to go glamping in some of Victoria’s most stunning and remote locations.
The fusion of glamour and camping has been a hit worldwide, so trialling the experience in Victoria’s National Parks to connect more people with nature and the outdoors is an exciting opportunity for visitors.
"The vast majority of visitors to our parks have indicated they’d like more diverse and accessible park services. Offering different types of accommodation, such as glamping, helps enhance people’s experiences in our unique and magnificent parks. Parks Victoria aims to provide inspiring visitor experiences that connect more people with what is special about Victoria’s parks," says Simon Talbot, Chief Operating Officer, Parks Victoria.
The trial will be held at two locations with two accommodation providers, each delivering something a bit unique:
