Parks Victoria requires that prospective employees undergo a National Police Record Check prior to an employment offer being made.
As part of the job application you will be asked to acknowledge this as a mandatory pre-employment requirement and consent to the results of the check being returned directly to Parks Victoria. You are, however, not required to complete the consent form until instructed to do so by a Parks Victoria staff member.
Having a criminal record does not automatically preclude you from being employed. Parks Victoria Human Resources will undertake a comprehensive assessment before making any decision on suitability for employment.
