Summer fun is here for Junior Rangers!

Monday 8 January, 2018

Join in the fun with Parks Victoria’s Junior Ranger program this summer and discover the secrets of our National Parks and reserves with a real park ranger!

During these holidays there are many activities being held in metro parks, such as Minibeast Discovery at Albert Park, becoming a Wildlife Detective at Yarra Bend or a Flora Explorer at Jells Park, and the ever popular Rockpool Rambles at Ricketts Point.

Parks Victoria’s Junior Ranger program aims to get children aged 6 to 12 and their families exploring and appreciating the plants, animals and environments of our parks.  It’s designed to get kids outdoors and having fun, getting active and learning about the amazing nature of our parks and reserves.

If you can’t make it to one of these activities this summer, you can still be a Junior Ranger. Check out the ‘Make and Do’ section of the Junior Ranger website for fun ideas you can download and take with you to any park or reserve.

Junior Ranger activities are free and must be booked online via
