Belfast Coastal Reserve Invitation to Apply for Historical Horse Training Licence

Thursday 24 January, 2019

Parks Victoria and Moyne Shire Council are inviting historical horse trainers to apply for a licence to continue training at Rutledges Cutting and Killarney Beach, consistent with the Belfast Coastal Reserve Management Plan.

Historical horse trainers are defined as those who have been training within the Belfast Coastal Reserve since before 2008, reside in Moyne Shire or Warrnambool City, and have less than ten racehorses in their stable.  Trainers will be asked to provide proof that they have been continuously training in the Reserve since before 2008.

This will be a once only process.  Trainers who fail to lodge an application will not be provided with any future opportunity to apply for a licence.

Applicants are invited to apply via https://historicaltrainer.smartygrants.com.au/trainer by 10am Monday 4 February 2018.

For information about the application process, or if you have questions please contact the Parks Victoria planning team at Parkplan@parks.vic.gov.au
