  • Due to recent bushfires in the area, the Tali Karng walking track network in the Alpine National Park will remain closed until further notice. Further information can be found here. at Tali Karng, Monday 15 July, 2019
  • With over 40 cm of fresh snow in the past 48 hours, accompanied by very strong winds and lots of transported snow, the avalanche danger is considerable in some areas of the back-country today.  Avoid steep terrain, especially near ridge tops lee to the west and south, and especially as the day warms.
