Camp fires

Good walking opportunities are available from this camping area.

The campground is accessible via Willeman Track, off Mount Samaria Road. This is a walk-in camping area only. It is a short 150m walk from the nearest road. Road conditions can vary so a four wheel drive is recommended for travel through the park.

No booking is required. Camping is on a first in, first-served basis.

Non-flush toilet, shared picnic table and fireplaces are available. All campsites are unpowered.

Only allowed in the fireplace provided – supply your own wood. Fuel stoves are preferred for cooking.

Some creek water may be available but supply is limited during drier periods. Please supply your own drinking water.

There is no rubbish collection at this campground. Please take all rubbish with you.

Campfire guidelines

  • Light fires only in the fireplaces provided or use a portable camping stove instead
  • Ensure fires are never left unattended and are completely out before you leave
  • During summer and autumn Total Fire Bans are common - this means no open fires can be lit
