The Point Lonsdale Pier was built in the late 1890s to assist in the retrieval of people from ships wrecked coming through the Rip.
Public berthing is available on Point Lonsdale Pier for up to 48 hours at a time (vessels should be attended). Other restrictions are detailed on Parks Victoria signs.
