  • Childers Cove staircase and beach access are now permanently closed for public safety. Geotechnical investigations show that the Childers Cove cliffs will remain actively unstable. There is no alternative access to Childers Cove beach but the visitor sites at nearby Murnanes Bay and Sandy Bay are open. at Bay of Islands Coastal Park

  • A section of walking track between The Well and Halladale Point has been closed for public safety due to landslip. The Well remains accessible from The Well carpark on Great Ocean Road and Halladale Point from the Worm Bay carpark. at Bay of Islands Coastal Park

This coastal park has outstanding ocean views and geological features. Sheer cliffs and rock stacks dominate the bays, and heathlands display colourful spring wildflowers. Beaches are accessible at some points.
