Change of conditions

  • Youngs Creek Track, between Triplet Falls and Aire Crossing, is currently in poor condition due to the recent wet weather. Visitors are advised to use Wait a While Road to access Aire River Crossing Campground until conditions improve. at Aire Crossing

  • Sand Road Bridge, the bridge connecting Aire River East and West, is closed due to repairs by Colac Otway Shire. The bridge will re-open to walkers only from Saturday 5 September 2015, with vehicle access to be restored at a later date. Walkers are requested to gain the attention of bridge workers who will provide safe passage across the bridge. at Aire River West

  • Walkers on the Great Ocean Walk will need to pre-plan vehicle transport from Aire River East to Aire River West due to the temporary closure of Sand Ridge Bridge. Contact GOR Shuttle (0428 379 278) or Walk 91 (0405 495 909) to arrange a transfer. The bridge is expected to re-open to walkers from Saturday 5 September 2015. at Great Ocean Walk
