Bridgewater Bay is popular with families for its relatively protected sandy beach, extensive rock pools at low tide and stunning cliff top views. The bay forms a large natural amphitheater as it is surrounded by impressive sandstone cliffs.

A walking track to the bay starts at a small car park at the end of St Johns Wood Road and a steep staircase descends from the cliffs to the beach below. Views are available from the walking track west towards Spray Point.
